Canine Retreat Clevedon

Terms & Conditions
* We require a booking form to be completed for every dog - for holiday boarders prior to each stay. Regular day boarders updated yearly or if circumstances change. It is your responsibility to inform of us of changes.
* No dog can be accepted unless it has been vaccinated and is up to date with its annual boosters for Canine Distemper, Infectious Canine Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Canine Parvovirus and other relevant diseases. The course of vaccination must have been completed at least four weeks before the first date of boarding.
*** You will need to provide a copy of their vaccination record on the first day of boarding as valid proof that your dog is up to date. This is a strict condition of my boarding license and therefore failure to do so will mean that I cannot board your dog. ***
* Your dog must have been wormed within the last three months and up to date with flea and tick treatments.
* No dogs registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 can be accepted for boarding.
* We cannot accept bitches who are in or due to be in season during the period of boarding. As they cannot be boarded with un-neutered males, who may also be boarding with us at any time. Un-neutered males will be accepted at our discretion.
* Under the conditions of our license, unfortunately we are unable to accept puppies under 6 months of age, as they can not be boarded with other dogs.
* We would like your dog to feel as comfortable as possible and this may mean bringing their bed and some of their toys. However please note this is at your risk, as other boarders will be present and damage may occur.
* Dogs boarding with us will be expected to sleep in our Garden room/ extension area (suitably seperated). We do not allow boarders to sleep in our bedroom (not even our dog), your dog therefore needs to be comfortable with these sleeping arrangements.
* Dogs are accepted based on the information you supply on the booking form. If your dog starts to display agressive, destructive or unreasonable behaviour, it will be seperated and you will be required to collect your dog. Please be aware, if you are away, your emergency contact will be expected to do this on your behalf, otherwise we will have to take your dog to a local kennel and you will liable for the cost.
* As we only accept a small number of dogs (maximum of five) to secure your booking we require a 50% deposit (which is non refundable, unless at least eight weeks notice is given when cancelling). Your dates are not guaranteed until we receive this along with a completed booking form.
* We will take payment of the remaining balance on the first day of your dogs stay.
